As per the latest report of prominent marketing analysis firm KGI, Apple is preparing to launch three new iPhone in 2018 with varied screen sizes. The three models include a 5.8-inch model that is heir to iPhone X, a 6.1-inch phone model with LCD display and a huge 6.5-inch model with an OLED display.
According to KGI analyst Ming-chi Kuo, all three models will have a borderless screen with the high ratio. He anticipates the 5.8-inch model will have approx. 458 pixels for every inch and the 6.5-inch phone model might have approx. 480 to 500 PPI. However, the third model is expected amid 320 and 330 PPI. Kuo also suggested that that Face ID feature will restore the home button completely in 2018 and the new models will likely to enclose 3-D sensors.
He stated we consider the key hardware dissimilarity in the two latest OLED models is their size, in a proposal to gratify various requirements of the high-end market. The novel TFT-LCD model will be different considerably from the OLED models in design specs and hardware. The initial selling points of the LCD model might be the ground-breaking user experience of an incorporated full-screen design as well as 3D sensing with a lesser price tag (we anticipate it will probably be US$649-749).
Kuo stated they consider that the two new OLED models are being prepared to target requirements of the high-end market and the third model with LCD display will target mid-range and low-end markets.
