22 days agoLooking at the leaked images, it seems that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will feature a bezel-less design with a high screen to body ratio similar to its predecessor (almost 93%).
Earlier today, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun revealed the retail box of the smartphone along with some promotional campaign images on Weibo. He revealed a slim and square shaped black box with “MIX” written on the top lid. However, the closed box kept the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 hidden inside it. Other than that, the campaign images show a man taking pictures without a phone. This could be a hint for a bezel-less display.
The first hint about the design of the Mi Mix 2 was from a conceptual video posted by renowned designer, Philippe Starck on his official Facebook page. The video predicted a smartphone with slimmer bezels than its previous version.
Another source indicated that the smartphone could feature a fingerprint sensor as well just below the screen as seen in most of the new gen smartphones.
So with all this information, we all are eagerly waiting for the official launch of the Mix Mix 2 on 11th September. For those who are not aware, this is just one day ahead of Apple’s next iPhone launch event on 12th September.
