Amidst all competition, Jio has come up with a new idea of releasing the web version of JioTv. It is not the first service from Reliance Jio that has launched its web version. Earlier JioCinema has unveiled its web version. Currently, this web version is shown “under construction” after its availability started on Monday. As of now the web version has been pulled off, but anyone who wants to take its benefit can visit jiotv.com and www.jiocinema.com to enjoy the web version of both JioTv and JioCinema, respectively.
Interestingly, the Web version of JioTV offers live TV access similar to the app and the users can opt between HD and SD streaming channels. The JioTV live streaming service is certainly going to improve its popularity as the interface of both JioTV and JioCinema is similar to the Android as well as iOS apps. Strikingly, all the TV channel categories could be spotted on the JioTV such as Sports, Entertainment, News, and Movies. Apart from filtering out HD channels from the regular SD ones, the users may also enjoy the option of filtering out channels in their preferred regional language. In case the customers have missed watching any content can have access to the past seven days via the Catch-Up TV feature.

7 days agoThe best thing about this JioTV web version is that it does not restrict the access to users with a Jio mobile network as it is the case in app versions. For enjoying the JioTV and JioCinema web version, the customers must login on to the respective websites in addition to a valid Jio ID and password. Undoubtedly, this step will make the users have a view to their favourite channels such as the live sports, even when connected to Wi-Fi or any other mobile networks. Certainly, this will boost Hotstar, which is a partner of Jio in allowing users to stream live sports on the Web itself.
