Samsung will be launching its next flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. The information came from Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business President DJ Koh, who, in a press conference revealed that the company will be unveiling the devices at MWC which is scheduled for February 26. Another report from ZDNet suggested that the date for starting of sale of both device will also be announced at the event itself.
To recall, a report from The Bell suggested that Samsung is planning to host a launch event at MWC on February 26. The report also highlighted that the company is unlikely to launch the device in March as it did with the Galaxy S8 and will launch it earlier to counter the ever increasing popularity of the Apple iPhone X.
Now, a popular tipster Evan Blass has revealed in a tweet that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 26 and both the phones will go on pre-orders starting from March 3.
