The Japanese manufacturer, Sony is all set to launch its new upcoming smartphone, the Xperia XZ1 on 31st August at the IFA 2017 to be held in Berlin. However, this long awaited phone has been in the highlight for several leaks. Most recent one was from a Tech geek named Roland Quandt who released some images of the Sony Xperia XZ1 compact on Twitter. The images show a pink version of the device. According to Ronald, it will also be available in Black, Silver and Blue.

According to the leaked images, the device will feature thick bezels on the top and bottom and slim bezels on the edges.

Talking about the specifications, the Sony XZ1 compact will be integrated with a 4.6” triluminos LCD display with X-reality and Corning’s Gorilla glass 5.It will have a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels and is expected to come with an Octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor,64GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM.

The device is also predicted to feature a 19MP rear camera and a 13MP front camera. The rear camera will come with an Exmor RS sensor with a F/2.0 lens.It will be able to shoot slow motion videos at 960fps and 4k video recordings.

The Android version for the device is expected to be Nougat 7.1. The Sony Xperia XZ1 compact will also have a fingerprint sensor, Turbo Charge 3.0 and a 2800mAh lithium battery to keep the game on.

To talk about the design, the XZ1 compact will have the same design as that of the XZ1.The ride side of the device will have a power button, a finger print sensor, volume controls and a dedicated camera shutter.

On the left side of the device, there is the 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone with digital noise cancellation and a Sim holder. The Sony Xperia XZ1 compact is expected to cost around USD 643.
