With all eyes on the selfie segment, China-based smartphone player, Vivo, has recently announced the launch of its brand new smartphone, the Vivo Y69, in India. Priced at INR 14,990, the latest Y series smartphone will go on sale from September 1, 2017 onwards through Flipkart, Amazon and other offline stores in India.

In addition to a 16MP front camera with a Samsung S5K3P3ST sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Moonlight Glow light, the Chinese handset maker has brought in camera modes like Bokeh, Group Selfie and Live Photo on the Y69. Available in cool color variants of Champagne Gold and Matte Black, the dual-SIM Vivo Y69 features Funtouch OS 3.2, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

On the front, powering the 5.5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display smartphone is the 1.5GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6570 SoC with 3GB of RAM. The Y series smartphone from Vivo also gets protection with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The rear of Y69 features a 13MP camera with a Samsung S5K3L8 sensor, dual-LED flash, and a f/2.2 aperture. What’s more? The 162.8 grams smartphone that stretches 154.6mm x 75.7mm x 7.7mm, gets a fingerprint scanner on its home button.

On the storage part, Vivo Y69 gets 32GB of inbuilt space which can be extended up to 256GB via microSD card, for which a dedicated slot is given. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB come as connectivity options in Y69. On board, sensor list comprises of an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and digital compass.
