IFA 2017, one of the world’s biggest tech expo is all good to go from 1st September 2017 to 6th September 2017. International Funkausstellung Berlin (a.k.a IFA) is held annually every year in Berlin where some of the leading smartphone manufacturers and technology big shots come together to display their latest products and technologies.
Going by the analytics, in the IFA 2016 around 1800 exhibitors from more than 50 different countries came together for the exhibition and more than 2,00000 visitors attended the show. This year we can expect more visitors because of numerous thrilling new launches planned. Let us take a look what we can expect from the IFA 2017:
LG
LG has officially confirmed that it will be launching its latest smartphones V30 and V30 plus at the IFA 2017.This will be the first V series device which will be available for the European users. However, the V30 plus is restricted to be sold in the Korean market only.
Samsung
This South Korean manufacturer has already revealed its latest Galaxy Note 8 at an event held in New York. However, rumors have it that Samsung might launch a foldable smartphone during the event. There is no official news yet.
Apart from the smartphone, Samsung might also go for launching its other accessories including the Gear Fit 2 pro or wireless earbud. They have kept it as an element of surprise for us.
Sony
We are expecting Sony to come up with numerous launches in this year’s event. It is predicted that Sony will release the next Xperia line up: The Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 compact, and Xperia X1. There are further rumors that Sony was also working on a Bezel-less device. So, we do have a hint of what Sony has planned for the event.
Huawei
This year Huawei has not given us much of an idea about what it has planned for the event.It has already launched Nova and Nova plus during an event in May 2017. These devices have not yet entered the European market. So, we are expecting Huawei to introduce its devices in Europe. Even though we are not expecting any smartphone launch from Huawei, we do predict that it might launch its smart speakers which were in highlight from past few weeks.
HTC
This Taiwanese consumer electronics company has already launched its latest flagship device, the HTC U11 in June 2017. Hence, we can expect HTC to launch its successor, the HTC U11 life. Apart from a smartphone, we can expect several high-end accessories from HTC.
Lenovo
Lenovo is predicted to launch the next lineup device for its K6 series. We can also expect Lenovo to come up with an updated version of its Yoga laptops.
Asus
It has been long that Asus has launched another successor of its ZenFone lineup. Hence, we are expecting it to release the next version of the ZenFone 4. We can also look forward to the ZenWatch 4 from Asus in the IFA 2017.
Blackberry
This year Blackberry will be there in the event only for promoting its recently launched Blackberry Keyone. We are not expecting any new launched from Blackberry this year.
