Airtel has recently introduced a VoLTE Beta programme to its users for selected states in India providing data benefits of up to 30GB. Users of the offer will get 30GB data in three installments – 10GB on downloading the VoLTE switch app, 10GB by providing a feedback after 4 weeks and 10GB after providing feedback after 8 weeks. Airtel has notified that beta users may experience network fluctuations and will be required to provide a regular feedback.
The program is currently available in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab, and Andhra Pradesh. 25 days agoAccording to Airtel, the VoLTE technology provides features such as HD voice and video calling, instant call connect and faster download speeds. The service was recently launched in Kolkata and already has presence Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
Airtel’s biggest rival – Reliance Jio is completely based in the VoLTE while other competitors are including Vodafone is planning to roll out VoLTE services in Mumbai, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Kolkata in the first phase.
