Pre-bookings for the much-awaited Reliance JioPhone went live on Jio.com on August 24 at 5:30 PM. Within hours, the site was down and many buyers were not given proper information about their booking status even after charging an amount of Rs 500. If you are also among those buyers who have booked the phone but have no idea regarding their booking status, read on us to know how to get the information about your JioPhone booking.
Users can check the status of their booking by dialing 18008908900 from their registered Jio number and check the status of their booking. The information has been provided by the company on their official Twitter handle. The tweet further said that the existing users can view status under Manage Voucher Section in the MyJio app.
The company has now completely suspended pre-bookings for its and it only allows people to register their interest in JioPhone for now. The Jio site read, “We will inform you when the pre-booking resumes”. The pre-booking has been removed from the website for only a short period as off and is expected to resume soon. However, there is now official statement as to when potential buyers will be able to pre-book JioPhone next.

As of now, people can register their interest in JioPhone by visiting Jio.com. Click on the register now tab and you will be redirected to register interest page reading, “Share your interests with us and we will get back to you”. On the page, there are two different forms: one for individual and other for business. If you are an individual, you need to fill in your name, email address, phone number and pin code. For those interested in JioPhone for business purposes, you will be asked to enter your contact name, company name, Pincode, PAN or GSTN number, contact personal email, contact person number and number of devices. Now check the box that says, “I accept terms & conditions” and hit submit.
JioPhone by Reliance is the cheapest smartphone in India with 4G VoLTE support. It comes with pre-loaded Jio-suite of apps including JioCinema, JioMusic, JioTV, MyJio app and lot more. JioPhone can be used with only a single SIM card. It can be connected to your TV via cable provided by the company in-box.
